...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
TO 8 PM EDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, northwest winds 15 to 20 kt with
gusts up to 35 kt. For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest
winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt expected.
* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD, Tidal
Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD and Patapsco River
including Baltimore Harbor.
* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until midnight EDT tonight. For
the Small Craft Advisory, from midnight tonight to 8 PM EDT
Friday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
