PBC Sweep Programs

Men's Sweeps

The PBC men’s competitive sweep program started in 2001 and has seen impressive race results ever since. Training is structured to produce nationally-competitive crews in the master's and open club categories.

The team includes men aged 24 to 65 years old. Training is in 8+ and 4+ on weekday mornings during the spring, summer, and fall. A complete program of ergs, exercises, stairs, and weights fills the winter months.

The team participates in several major regattas during the summer and fall. Races include USRowing Nationals, Masters Nationals, Masters Worlds, and Canadian Henley as well as the Head of the Charles Regatta and the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
